Wetting Whetting West Australians' appetites

NAMING & PROMOTIONAL CAMPAIGN

A winter campaign for Buy West Eat Best promoting partner venues that were ‘plating up’ exclusively West Australian sourced dishes and specials for the month of June. The aim was two-fold: to drive patronage at these venues, whilst increasing BWEB’s restaurant membership base.

Showcasing dishes from fine dining to pub grub, and setting these on a table amongst the WA landscapes from which they hail, I created Plating Up WA: a celebration of all that’s local. The campaign was immensely successful, resulting in an uptake in their membership base as well as seeing a rise in customer numbers in the quiet winter months. Not to mention it was also awarded Best Social & Digital Campaign at the national PRIA Golden Target Awards, and Buy West Eat Best have continued Plating Up WA as an annual event.
