Forming a brand from the mound ground up
NAMING, BRAND POSITIONING, MESSAGING
Specialising in social impact projects, AntHill was conceived by a design anthropologist with a passion for empowering communities. They consult with organisations and communities to design initiatives that create value for all.
Working with the founder, I created the name and positioning for AntHill to not only connect with communities and corporates, but also embody their robust approach to social research and design.
‘From the ground up, for a common good’ — AntHill is the embodiment of how communities function, interact and build together. It also distills their guiding belief in creating self-determined, resilient communities.
The verbal identity borrows tropes from ant behaviours, paired with looping statements, or ‘word trails’, to represent people working together for a common good.
